【摘要】:ThispartofISO/TR14999givesterms,definitionsandfundamentalphysicalandtechnicalrelationshipsforinterferometricmeasurementsofopticalwavefrontsandsurfaceformofopticalelements.Itexplainswhysomeprinciplesoftheconstructionanduseofinterferometersareimportantduetothewavenatureofthewavefrontstobemeasured.Sinceallwavefrontswiththeexceptionofveryextendedplanewavesdoaltertheirshapewhenpropagating,thispartofISO/TR14999alsoincludessomebasicinformationaboutwavepropagation.Inpractice,interferometricmeasurementscanbedoneandaredonebyuseofvariousconfigurations;thispartofISO/TR14999outlinesthebasicconfigurationsfortwo-beaminterference.Themathematicalformulationofopticalwavesbytheconceptofthecomplexamplitudeaswellasthebasicequationsoftwo-beaminterferenceareestablishedtoexplaintheprinciplesofderivingthephaseinformationoutofthemeasuredintensitydistribution,eitherintimeorinspace.BothrandomandsystematicerrorsmayaffecttheresultsofinterferometricmeasurementsanderrortypestobeclearlydifferentiatedarethereforedescribedinthispartofISO/TR14999.
