【摘要】:IntroducestheStillImagepartofISO/IEC13249,givesthereferencesnecessaryforthispartofthispartofISO/IEC13249,definesnotationsandconventionsspecifictothispartofthispartofISO/IEC13249,definesconceptsspecifictothispartofthispartofISO/IEC13249,definesthestillimageuser-definedtypesandtheirassociatedroutines.Thestillimageuser-definedtypesdefinedinthispartadheretothefollowing:-Astillimageuser-definedtypeisgenerictoimagedatahandling.Itaddressestheneedtostore,manageandretrieveinformationbasedonaspectsofimagedatasuchasheight,widthandformatandbasedonimagefeaturessuchasaveragecolor,colorhistogram,positionalcolorandtexture.-Astillimageuser-definedtypedoesnotredefinethedatabaselanguageSQLdirectlyorincombinationwithanotherstillimagedatatype.Thestillimageuser-definedtypesareapplicabletoalldifferentimageformats.Hoever,notallfunctionalitycanbeusedwithallknownstillimageformats.AnimplementationofthispartofISO/IEC13249mayexistinenvironmentsthatalsosupportinformationandcontentmanagement,decisionsupport,datamining,anddatawarehousingsystems.ApplicationareasaddressedbyimplementationsofthispartofISO/IEC13249include,butarenotrestrictedto,graphics,multimedia,scientificresearch,andmedicine.
